Once again, New York mma fighters will be entering cages and rings across the country this weekend. The UFC’s rising star, Jon Jones, will be taking on Brandon Vera for a much anticipated battle at Fight Night Versus in Colorado. Icon of the sport, Renzo Gracie, will have two of his fighters appearing at UCC 1 Merciless at the Jersey City Armory: Dave Branch and John Cholish. Also on the UCC 1 card are Bombsquad fighters Kenny Foster, Colin Schrader Eric Henry and, in the main event Ryan Contaldi. Finally, Joshua Key, who hails from the Bronx but fights with AMA out of New Jersey, will be taking on Hitalo Michado in a lightweight battle. UCC should be a great event -check it out!
